Every year we do a project where we make pillows. We make soft, squishy, snuggly pillows, created in some way by our little friends. This year it was tie-dyed jersey pillows. Isabella, my daughter home from college on winter break, was the driver of this activity. The kids had two sides to dye the same or in different ways. We used powdered Rit dye in recycled dish washing soap containers and the results were lovely. It took us weeks to finish everyone’s project but it was well worth the effort. My hope is these pillows will continue to give comfort to my little friends for years to come!
