We were so busy over the summer and haven’t posted in quite a while. Summer camp was pretty amazing. We met new kids, had a lot of fun, and were once again over joyed with the art.
I had always wanted to show the kids the beautiful hearts in San Francisco and do something around them. We showed photos of the hearts and started building and designing them. Hazel and her friend Scott cut wood for the bases and sticks to hold the hearts. We thought we would have the kids build the hearts and then paper mache them, but decided that it would be very frustrating for us all. We spent an evening building the structures so that we could get all the work done in one week.
Here is all the beautiful work.
